My Story

My passion for nursing started when I was just five years old. I desperately wanted to know where babies came from, but was too afraid to ask my mother. I decided that nurses must know the answer, so at age five, I set my first goal…to become a nurse.

Throughout my nursing career, I have experienced the joys of caring for those in need, the burdens of those in pain and the struggles of the ever changing healthcare industry.

The year was 1992. I discovered that I had a personal passion for the excitement and rejuvenation of cruises. I also needed nursing contact hours. This simple question came to mind. “What would it be like to attend a nurse’s conference on a cruise ship?” Why can’t nurses combine travel and education like doctors have been doing for years? In that moment, the idea for CE’s At Sea Conference Cruises was born!

Today, CE’s At Sea has evolved into an unbelievable educational and rejuvenating experience that has impacted the lives of thousands of nursing professionals.

Throughout our 16 years, CE’s At Sea has hosted Conference Cruises to international ports of call, including the Mediterranean, Tahiti, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexican Riviera, Cozumel and almost every port in the Caribbean; from the Cayman Islands to St. Thomas to Barbados! We have offered annual Nursing Conference Cruises in a variety of specialties ranging from Neonatology-Perinatology, Perioperative, Emergency, Critical Care, and Oncology.

CE’s At Sea combines the nursing industry’s elite faculty with the stress-free, nurturing experience of an ocean cruise with colleagues. That is why I am convinced that no other conference delivers a more valuable and unique opportunity for education, networking, and rejuvenation.
