Sandy Gardner RN MS CNS PNP

Sandra L. Gardner RN MS CNS PNP is Director of Professional Outreach Consultation, a national and international consulting firm established in 1980. Sandy plans, develops, teaches and coordinates workshops on perinatal/neonatal/pediatric. In 2006, she co-founded a partnership and is the managing director of Nurse’s Professional Development and Practice Association, LLC (NPDPATM), a virtual company. NPDPA produces and offers evidence-based policies, procedures, protocols, clinical practice tools, and continuing education programs for Nurses. Sandy is the co-editor of: Handbook of Neonatal Intensive Care, ed 6, 2006 and the Editor of Nurse Currents. Sandy’s teaching style is down-to-earth and will provide you with the most current trends in Neonatal Nursing.

Carol Harvey RNC MS APN

Carol Harvey RNC MS APN is a clinical nurse specialist for the High Risk Perinatal Unit and Labor & Delivery at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the care of high risk and critically ill obstetric patients and has over 100 publications in the field. Carol has a unique presentation style and uses laughter and humor in all of her presentations.

Nanci Koperski RNC LNCC MBS MHSA

Nanci Koperski RNC LNCC MBA MHSA has been a Registered Nurse for over 23 years. She is presently certified in inpatient obstetrical nursing and fetal monitoring. Ms. Koperski’s years of expertise and love for obstetrical nursing has prepared for her present position as a full time Legal Nurse Consultant. For the past several years, she has been working in a plaintiff attorney firm, reviewing medical records, diagnosis and treatments for attorneys throughout the United States. Her focus is in the area of settlement claims involving personal injury, medical malpractice and worker’s compensation cases. Past conference attendees have commented that Nanci has a wonderful ability to simplify and communicate legal jargon into everyday language for nurses.

Barbara Herrera RNE

Barbara Herrera RNE, President/CEO, founded CE’s At Sea in 1992. Over the last 38 years, Barbara has had an expansive area of practice, ranging from NICU, PICU, ED, BMTV, OR, PACU, and, as time allows, practices bedside nursing at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Barbara’s presentation style, although humorous at times, will challenge you to think seriously about your personal life choices and decisions.
